Hitched Salon is introducing another designer to its fashionable bridal racks with the addition of Johanna Johnson designs. A sensation in Australia, the couture and wedding designer has made a splash with brides stateside, prompting the opening of a studio in New York earlier this year. Johanna Johnson’s gowns, which count celebrities such as Christina Hendricks, Maya Rudolph, and Julie Bowen as fans, will appeal to brides who like their silhouettes classic, their fabrics luxurious, and their embellishments plentiful. The designer’s spring/summer 2013 gowns were inspired by the showstopping Ziegfeld girls of old Hollywood, and feature intricate draping, Swarovski crystal details, and flattering lines. In addition to dresses, brides-to-be can peruse the designer’s relatively new line of accessories, made up of statement cuffs, lavish stoles, and jewel-encrusted headpieces. Check out the designs for yourself below.

Available at Hitched Salon, 1523 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-333-6162
