Good and Bad News from Metro

Despite previous plans to close the Archives-Navy Memorial Metro station and a Smithsonian station entrance all day on January 20, Metro announced today that both will reopen at 6:30 PM. However, other stations will now be designated as exit-only or entry-only "to move as many people as possible into and out of the Metrorail system on Inauguration Day," according to Metro's Web site.

Stations impacted by the new arrangement include Stadium-Armory, Metro Center, Farragut North, Gallery Place, L'Enfant Plaza, and Union Station.

If your Inauguration Day travel plans include any of these stations, check out this list of the entry/exit changes at each station.
