While we know this season has been a challenge for the Washington Nationals and their
fans, we also know there will be many seasons to come, and nothing’s over until it’s
over. In fact, there’s a new way for Nats fans to express their team spirit: license
plates.
The DC Department of Motor Vehicles has issued the first-ever Washington Nationals
license plates, and similar plates are in the works for Maryland and Virginia. They
are an attractive white with a big red curly W and black lettering.
Here’s what you need to know:
The plates are available at three DMV service centers: Penn Branch, Southwest, and
Rhode Island
You must bring valid identification (driver’s license or identification card)
Also bring existing vehicle tags, which you will have to surrender if you plan to
use the Nats tags on your vehicle
In addition to the regular registration fees, there is a charge of $100
