Drive Your Natitude: Here’s a New Way for Nats Fans to Show Team Spirit

The DC DMV has issued the first-ever Nationals license plates.

While we know this season has been a challenge for the Washington Nationals and their
fans, we also know there will be many seasons to come, and nothing’s over until it’s
over. In fact, there’s a new way for Nats fans to express their team spirit: license
plates
.

The DC Department of Motor Vehicles has issued the first-ever Washington Nationals
license plates, and similar plates are in the works for Maryland and Virginia. They
are an attractive white with a big red curly W and black lettering.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The plates are available at three DMV service centers: Penn Branch, Southwest, and
    Rhode Island
  • You must bring valid identification (driver’s license or identification card)
  • Also bring existing vehicle tags, which you will have to surrender if you plan to
    use the Nats tags on your vehicle
  • In addition to the regular registration fees, there is a charge of $100
