Washingtonian’s Most Powerful Women luncheon took place on November 13, 2013. The event recognized Washington’s most powerful women, and each honoree was invited to bring a guest—someone with talent and tenacity to watch in the future. At the luncheon, held at the Fairmont Hotel, Washington DC and sponsored by PWC, 118 women gathered in the Colonnade room, which was transformed by Capitol Décor, a select event rental company. The three-course meal served was prepared by the Fairmont. Speakers included Cathy Merrill Williams, publisher of Washingtonian, Chris Simmons of PWC and Kate Bennett, editor of Washingtonian Bride & Groom and Washingtonian Mom.
