Founding chef and co-owner Bruno Fortin now spends most of his time in Bali and France, but much of what comes from the kitchen at this Francophile haven is still well worth seeking out. Whether in the bustling downstairs dining room, with its oversize reproduction of Gustave Caillebotte’s “Rainy Day in Paris,” or in the livelier upstairs wine bar, you’ll find a lovely beet-and-chèvre terrine, a well-made pâté, and entrées that range from a traditional cassoulet to a more nouvelle plate of sea scallops with shavings of pickled ginger.
