Best place to ask her to marry you: Maestro, where the ring can come with the dessert.

The spectacularly elegant restaurant Maestro (1700 Tysons Blvd., McLean; 703-821-1515) accommodates spouses-to-be with extra-private tables, a special five-course tasting menu, and a choice of ring-bearing desserts, from a spun-sugar box to a pastry dome to a dessert strewn with rose petals. Upstairs in the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner (703-506-4300), the $279 special-occasion package provides a lovely room and a chilled bottle of Champagne.
