Looking to go see a play this weekend? If blood and gore aren't your thing, you may want to avoid Titus Andronicus, now playing at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Our reviewer, Leslie Milk, says:
"…the vivid characters cannot make up for the paucity of the plot. There are no brilliant soliloquies and no saving graces. Director Gale Edwards inexplicably mixes centuries in her choice of costumes and props—helmeted centurions and men in business suits, bows and arrows and disco lights.
The bottom line—this is a bloody mess."
