A great resource for those folks who, like me, are always trying to keep up with the ever-increasing amount of great live shows going on in the DC area: DClicio.us. The site hosts several RSS feeds for venues in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Use it to keep up-to-date with what shows are coming to town in the next week or month.
Admit it: your closet is just dying for a thorough spring cleaning. And, if you’re anything like plenty of the ladies in this area, you’ve got a bunch of once-worn formal and bridesmaid dresses sitting in the back of the closet. Why not dry clean them and bring them down to Hitched Bridal Salon (1523 Wisconsin Ave., NW) through the whole month of April. The dresses will be donated to underprivileged high school students to wear to prom.
