Things to Do

Our Pick for the Week: Music, Music Everywhere

It's summertime in the city, and that means not only the regular heat and humidity, but also plenty of great concerts. Seriously, there's so much good music this week that I couldn't pick just one show for you to attend. There's a little something for everybody out there in the next few days. Opera fan? Try Monday night's free opera at the Kennedy Center. If you're into R&B, Les Nubians at Bohemian Caverns are a must-see. Gogol Bordello brings frantic, fun gypsy punk to the 9:30 Club, while Junior League plays twangy melodies that'll have you humming over at Iota. And I didn't even mention the great Fort Reno shows going on this week!
