This hotel was thinking of the absent-minded types when it designed the Mea Culpa package, available on Sunday, February 15. To help those who forgot Valentine’s Day get out of the doghouse, it includes breakfast for two at Juniper restaurant and a special “I’m sorry” amenity created by the hotel’s executive pastry chef. With the Rub the One You’re With massage package, lovebirds will be treated to an in-room massage class with a personal massage therapist, who’ll give you tips on head, shoulder, hand, and foot massages. After an hour of instruction, the therapist will leave you and your partner in each other’s hands with a take-home massage kit featuring Kerstin Florian organic-lavender massage oil, a lavender-and-lemon aromatherapy candle, and a packet of aromatherapy bath salts. This hotel’s Sweetheart Package is designed to indulge sweet tooths. At $154 a night, it includes treats such as chocolate-dipped Oreos, Belgian chocolate truffles, nuts, and hot chocolate. St. Regis Washington, DC

The $2,300 Capital Night of Romance package includes a one-night stay in the private Jenny Lind Suite, which has sweeping city views located in the hotel’s attic.
