Relaxing Romance: Valentine’s Day Spa Packages

Indulge in a little relaxation this Valentine’s Day. Treat your sweetheart or get primped and pampered as a pair with these Cupid-approved spa packages.

Blu Water Day Spa
At this Kensington spa, choose from treatments such as the 120-minute Romantic Red Rose Manicure and Pedicure ($115), which includes exfoliation, a mask, and massage; the 75-minute Valentine’s Chocolate Pedicure ($75), that features a chocolate mask and foot-and-leg massage with essential oils; the 60-minute Love Your Skin Organic Facial ($100), which uses organic fruits, herbs, and spices to target premature aging, wrinkles, sun damage, and acne; and the 60-minute Feeling Rose-y Body Polish ($100), featuring a honey-and-rose-petal salt scrub, essential oils, and shea-butter cream. His-and-hers options include a 60-minute deep-tissue massage, apothecary pedicure, and men’s nail treatment for him ($195) or a 60-minute signature facial, apothecary pedicure, and makeup application for her ($225).

Fountains Day Spa
Valentine’s Day discounts here include the My Valentine package ($588, normally $653), with a body wrap using rose mud imported from Provence, a combination massage and foot reflexology, a spa lunch, a facial, and a $100 credit toward Guinot skin or body products. The Forget Me Not package ($299, normally $332) features an 80-minute aromatherapy massage, a facial, a reflexology pressure-point treatment, and lunch. With the Roses Are Red package ($310, normally $344), you’ll receive a rose-mud wrap, facial, rose-oil massage, and lunch. Packages such as the Couple’s Escape ($395, normally $438) offer twice the relaxation with a couple’s massage, two facials, fruit, and chocolate. Couples can also get a basic couple’s massages with fruit and chocolates for 50 or 80 minutes for $205 to $234. Better yet, learn to massage each other with a private two-hour massage course ($190, normally $210).

Hair Port Salon & Day Spa

Hair Port’s Couple’s Retreat package ($630) offers a little bit of everything: Couples get stress-relief massages, aromatic facials, pedicures, anti-aging hand treatments, aromatherapy scalp treatments, and a blow-dry and hairstyle. They’ll also receive lunch and a loofah back scrubber and skin-care products as gifts. The spa’s Rose Petal Massage ($125) combines a rose body scrub and massage atop a bed of petals.

K-Spa
The spa’s Moroccan Room is the setting for the Couple’s Rejuvenation package ($360). The day includes two customized facials, two one-hour aromatherapy massages, lunch, and a spa gift. The Sweethearts Massage ($140 or $70 each) includes two Swedish massages and light refreshments.

Spa Minérale
At this spa at the Landsdowne Resort, you can choose from a menu of massage options, including classic Swedish, golfers, deep-tissue, aromatherapy, or hot-stone for a side-by-side couple’s rub down (price varies depending on treatments). Fifty- and 75-minute sessions are available.

Pearl Spa
Two romantic packages are offered here year-round: the Dynamic Duo ($370) includes an hour in a private four-chamber treatment suite, a 45-minute Swedish or deep-tissue massage for two, and a chocolate-mud soak in a two-person hydrotherapy tub. The Romancing the Stone package ($340) starts with hot-stone massages followed by a soak in the hydrotherapy tub with essential oils and sea salts. The best part? Both packages come with a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries and your choice of Champagne or sparkling cider.

For Valentine’s specials, book side-by-side treatments, including Chocolate Fantasy pedicures ($150), chocolate-and-strawberry-scented body treatments ($250), and Rockin’ Rose hot-stone massages ($300). And sweet tooths rejoice: All the Valentine’s specials come with Champagne and truffles.

Qi Spa
On this spa’s Web site, you can buy a gift certificate for services such as the 60-minute Couple’s Chocolate Delight ($380) massage, which comes with a cup of hot chocolate. Or try the Signature Couple’s Hot Stone Massage, which uses heated stones and jojoba oil to release toxins from the body. It’s available at a discounted rate of $198 (normally $220). For gifts, try discounted services such as a collagen hydrating facial ($128, normally $140), microdermabrasion ($150, normally $160), or the Harmony package ($185, normally $205), which includes a deep-cleaning facial, hot-stone massage, and tea.

Robert Andrew Salon
You can’t get much more Valentine’s Day than soaking in a heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub—two private suites have them at this Gambrills, Maryland, spa. For $261 a couple, soak in a tub in the Venetian Suite and get a full-body massage and lunch. The Tuscany Suite’s $311-per-couple package includes tub time or use of a waterfall shower with pulsating jets, plus a couple’s massage and lunch.

Serenity Day Spa

The Romantic Revival package ($488) for couples includes aromatherapy massages in the spa’s couple’s suite, manicures and pedicures, and facials.

Soul Day Spa and Salon
With the Couple’s Package ($320), lovebirds can enjoy simultaneous 50-minute Swedish massages in the same room, manicures, pedicures, and lunch.
