This Woodley Park Marriott is offering a Weekend Brunch Package for Mother’s Day weekend, available for one- and two-night stays. The one-night package includes accommodations Saturday night, Sunday brunch for two at the hotel’s Stone’s Throw Restaurant & Bar, overnight valet parking, a rose for Mom, and late checkout at 4 PM. The Gaylord is organizing a Mother’s Day outing for the whole family with a “Mom Prom & Family Affair” Saturday, May 8. The event features a Saturday-night dance party with contests, a DJ, and mother-son/father-daughter dances. The package also includes Saturday-night accommodations in a deluxe guest room (sleeps four), admission for four to the dance, and a Mother’s Day Morning Reception on Sunday. This B&B on Virginia’s Eastern Shore has a Mother’s Day deal exclusively for Washingtonian readers. The “Mother by Chance, Friend by Choice” package includes two nights at $150 a night—more than a 20-percent discount. It also includes breakfast and WineDown Hours, a happy hour prepared by the chef that features wine and hors d’oeuvres. Add an in-room massage for an additional charge. Why not let Mom spend Mother’s Day in the Blue Ridge Mountains? This Shenandoah Valley B&B sits at 2,800 feet on 28 wooded acres. If you book the Sugar Tree Inn for two nights over Mother’s Day weekend, guests get a free three-course dinner for two. Stays can be either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, but the dinner is served only on Friday and Saturday nights.
