Where & When: What to Do Tonight

Good causes, big bands, and boogying down.

WGirls DC—a group that supports underprivileged women and children—is hosting a happy hour tonight at Co Co. Sala to benefit Women Empowered Against Violence, an organization supporting adult and teen survivors of relationship abuse and violence. All proceeds of the event, which includes drink specials and raffles, go to WEAVE. $5; 6 PM.

The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre (111 Maryland Ave., Rockville; 240-314-8660) hosts the Rockville Concert Band, which is performing classic concert-band pieces (and Broadway tunes) from such composers as Gustav Holst, John Philip Sousa, and Karl King. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Free; 7:30. In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors.

If you’re going to sweat anyway, might as well do it boogie-style with music from Endless Boogie at the Black Cat. The four-member group, based in New York City, is known for its endless, soulful grooves. $10; 9 PM.
