Wear + When: Dance Party

Hit the floor in clothes built to move

DC sure loves its dance parties. From Friday’s Michael Jackson tribute at the 9:30 Club to DC9’s Fez and Moustache Jam, there are countless ways and places to hit the flo’ this weekend. Love the city right back in a locally designed One vs. Many tee, and be sure to pick a dark color so sweat doesn't show through. Take your dancing seriously? Bust every move in cool-girl leather shorts and cheeky houndstooth flats, both designed to keep you care—and pain— free while you break it down. If you’re headed to 9:30, do MJ proud in a bright-red blazer, side-cocked fedora, and fingerless gloves. Hitting more than one party? Not a prob—just ditch the ’80s-inspired accessories as you change venues, and throw on some heavy black eyeliner for good measure.

The Pieces:
One vs. Many For the Love of DC tee, $25; DSquared2 cotton blazer, $1020; Tibi tailored leather shorts, $585; Jeffrey Campbell Big Button flats, $112; Private Island black cotton fedora, $9.75; ASOS fingerless lace gloves, $8.43
