Things to Do

Where & When: What to Do Tonight

Fashion advice, a free play reading, and a fun way to cool off

THEATER: The zombie invasion continues as the Arts Club of Washington (2017 I St., NW) continues its first-draft reading series of Uncle Tom’s Cabin and Zombies. Written by Malcolm Pelles, the play satirizes the classic novel by recasting the hero as a zombie killer. 7:30 PM; free.

FASHION: Get an expert’s take on the latest spring trends at Fashion Group International’s presentation at Tysons Galleria, cosponsored by Capitol File magazine. Fashion journalist Marylou Luther will discuss what’s new in clothing, accessories, and beauty. 6:30 to 8:30; get tickets ($35) here.

PARTY: Take a dip in Donovan House’s rooftop pool at the hotel’s first pool party of the season. The Full Moon Bounce event features DJs from the Black Cat and towel service. Free; starts at 8 PM.

MUSIC: Barcode Symphony makes music out of everyday commercial objects. The new-media project assigns the numbers a musical note, giving each product a unique tune. The interactive installation is at Artisphere through August 31.
