R&B soul singer Mary J. Blige still has it. The six-time Grammy winner comes to the Fillmore on Thursday, September 15. Tickets ($89.50) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

New Wave band Blondie will rock the Fillmore stage on Tuesday, September 20. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band released Panic of Girls in May. Tickets ($35) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

Kanye West and Jay-Z form The Throne when they come to the Verizon Center on Thursday, September 29. The two have shared the stage as a guest at each other’s concerts, but will perform as duo for the first time during the Watch The Throne Tour. Tickets ($59.50 to $250) go on presale Thursday at 10 AM through LiveNation.

Folk Singer-songwriter Laura Marling will perform at Sixth and I on Tuesday, September 27. The England native has worked with Noah and the Whale and her third album, A Creature I Don’t Know, is scheduled for release in September. Tickets ($25) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.
Cheap Trick, the band behind “I Want You to Want Me,” is coming to the Fillmore on Tuesday, September 27. Fun fact: Cheap Trick also covered Big Star’s “In the Street,” which became the theme song for That ’70s Show. Tickets ($45) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

Stand-up comedian Lewis Black will bring his act his hometown at the Fillmore on Sunday, October 23. Black was born and raised in Silver Spring. Tickets ($39.50 to $55) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.
