Dana Williams-Johnson, known to her readers as DWJ, is the writer behind the Art of Accessories, a blog devoted to shoes, jewelry, handbags, and more.

While the Clinton resident admits to owning “a bajillion” bags, she has two favorites she carries to her day job as Webmaster for a DC trade association. Each can hold everything from one of her two laptops, a camera, and an iPad to her notebook, favorite pen, and toothbrush. “I have a big LeSportsac bag I use on days I’m going to the gym—I love that I can throw it in the washing machine,” she says. “I also like Timbuk2 bags because you can customize them—plus some are waterproof. I have one that’s teal with a panel of camo print.” (It’s shown above.) The most important attribute? “Laptops are kind of clunky,” she says, “so I want my bag to be cute.”
