SCAVENGER HUNT: Track down naughty novelties during the Watson Adventures’ Naked Scavenger Hunt at the American Art Museum. Items include a tempting she-devil, a giddy drinker, and a startling Lite-Brite picture. And yes, clothes are required. Tickets ($24.50) can be purchased through the event’s website. 1 PM. The scavenger hunt runs through February 12.
MUSEUM: Grab a friend and head to the National Museum of Crime and Punishment for the Crimes of Passion tour. Scorned lovers can peruse the museum’s 600 exhibits, hear haunting tales of relationships gone awry, and more—all while being handcuffed to their companion. WOO AT THE ZOO: Washington’s wildest Valentine’s Day event returns to the National Zoo with a cash bar, a brownie-making station, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and educational talks. Guests will receive a commemorative Woo at the Zoo glass to take home. Tickets ($22) can be purchased through the zoo’s website. Talks at 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 PM.
BENEFIT: Tickets for this year’s Cupid’s Undie Run are sold out, but you can still support the scantily clad runners from the sidelines. Click here to donate; proceeds will benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The race begins at the Pour House at 2 PM.
ART: Art Soiree hosts the third annual Love Masquerade at the Washington Club. Guests can check out a costume fashion show by Evgenia Luzhina-Salazar, live music, a premium open bar, and complimentary sweets. DRINKS: During Bar Pilar’s second annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Party, sorrowful singles can devour $7 desserts and $10 bitter cocktails—like the cheekily named Tuff Love, Cheap Date, or Cupid’s Broken Arrow.
FOOD: Eat your heart out at Againn’s three-course Anti-Valentine’s Day dinner. Disenchanted diners can enjoy their choice of saffron-mussel bisque or black pudding, pan-seared salmon or Tamworth pork, and spotted dick or banoffee pie.
