When we first brought news last November that the owners of the Centreville franchise of Korean twice-fried-chicken chain BonChon were headed to Arlington, you responded with much enthusiasm. Then we learned that sleek design firm GrizForm would be handling the interior—the new BonChon would be not only a destination for obsession-worthy wings and drumsticks but also a cool spot to get a drink.

Well, it is here. On Monday, Thomas An and Paul Choi officially threw open their doors (albeit softly) after a weekend of friends-and-family dinners. They have secured their liquor license and will offer 12 craft beers along with carryout growlers, as the Washington Business Journal reported back in May. Soft-opening hours run from 11:30 to 2 and from 5 to close (around 10 PM). Head to the shops at Pershing to check it out. Remember, it is always best to call ahead when ordering the chicken (available in spicy, soy-garlic glaze, or a combination of both) to go.
