Which salad chain has the healthier Caesar or cobb salad? Take our quiz!

Sweetgreen and Chop’t are two salad behemoths in Washington, with lines spilling out their doors during lunch every day. But how do their tasty salads and wraps stack up against each other? Take our quiz to find out.

Earth Bowl

Warm grains, organic arugula, roasted chicken, white cheddar, grape tomatoes, raw corn, and spicy broccoli with pesto vinaigrette.

Chop’t Po Boy

FreeBird panko fried chicken, tomato, red onions, and white cheddar cheese, and romaine lettuce with spa Tex-Mex ranch.

It’s still high in calories (730) and fat (43 grams), but it contains a wealth of antioxidant-promoting veggies, and the grains provide a good dose of fiber and protein.
Beside the tomato, there’s not too much going for you in this salad. Opt for grilled chicken and additional veggies next time.

Organic mesclun, soba noodles, avocado, raw corn, carrots, raw seeds, and cilantro with miso-sesame-ginger vinaigrette, and Sriracha.

Vegetarian Powerhouse

Broccoli, edamame, carrots, sunflower seeds, walnuts, craisins, apples, spinach, and romaine lettuce and spa balsamic vinaigrette.

It’s a veggie-friendly winner with buckwheat noodles and healthy fats from the avocado. But you might be hungry sooner due to lack of protein.
At 590 calories, this is a real winner. It’s loaded with vitamins A and C, and has only 138 milligrams of sodium.

Guacamole Greens

Organic mesclun with roasted chicken, avocado, grape tomatoes, red onions, and crushed tortilla chips with lime-cilantro-jalapeño vinaigrette and lime squeeze.

FreeBird grilled chicken, avocado, Niman Ranch smoked bacon, hardboiled egg, crumbled blue cheese, tomato, and romaine lettuce.

The number of calories and fat grams are about the same as Chop’t’s version, but this salad contains half the amount of sodium.
It’s 670 calories and contains a whopping 1,430 milligrams of sodium—and that’s without any dressing.

Kale Caesar

Shredded kale, romaine, roasted chicken, shaved Parmesan, grape tomatoes, and Parmesan crisp with Caesar dressing and lime squeeze.

Mexican Caesar

Cotija cheese, jalapeño, tortilla chips, romaine lettuce, and FreeBird grilled chicken with Mexican Caesar dressing.

Kale is a superfood, but it won’t do much to save you from the 1,263 milligrams of sodium and 28 grams of fat in this salad.
It’s got 420 calories and about 10 fewer grams of fat. The 600 milligrams of sodium isn’t ideal, but it’s still the healthier option.
