The Ballston Common Mall is getting a much-needed facelift as it’s being redeveloped as Ballston Quarter, which “will energize you with experiences that feel authentic, local, real. Our goal: to create the next ‘it’ place,” according to their website. With the renovation, retailers are having to shift, including Ballston’s Fornash jewelry store.

Fornash has been in the wholesale business for 14 years, with one retail location at the Ballston mall for the past four years. With the redevelopment, Fornash has decided to pack its bags and move to a new location, which is yet to be announced.

“Having the warehouse and a retail location under one roof at Ballston Common Mall helped me grow my business and my brand,” says owner Stephanie Fornash Kennedy. “It’s been a great experience and we are excited to move on to the next chapter.”

With the move, the store is planning to clear out some inventory—including one-of-a-kind samples and discontinued items—before May 31, which is great news for anyone looking to up their summer accessories game. Everything at the Ballston store will be 50 or more percent off, which means that you can pick up an arm load of preppy bracelets, some cute summer clutches, and statement necklaces to dress up any cocktail dress in your closet at a serious discount.

Fornash is located at 4238 Wilson Blvd., Arlington.
