THURSDAY, MAY 19

EAT AND DRINK: Some flavor combinations just make sense. Manor Hill Brewing is bringing one of the most loved culinary marriages to Smoke & Barrel for a beer and taco dinner (including a homemade choco taco.) $52, 6:30 PM

WATCH: Head over to Capital Fringe for a showing of Chris Rock’s hilarious and painfully honest documentary Good Hair. The film explores African American women’s hair, from the way it’s been styled over the years to its changing role in culture and society. Free, 7 PM

FRIDAY, MAY 20

MUSIC: Friday’s Luce Unplugged features hometown heroes Beauty Pill. And if seeing them perform in the stunning space isn’t incentive enough, go for the brass section the band promised on Twitter. Free, 5:30 PM

PARTY: Brightest Young Things and the National Museum of Women in the Arts are teaming up for an after hours party. Take a tour of the museum, including the latest exhibit She Who Tells A Story: Women Photographers from Iran and the Arab World, dance to a DJ set by Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast, and take advantage of the open bar. $60, 8 PM

BURLESQUE SINGALONG: It’s like A People’s Choir, but with stripping. At the Black Cat’s Burlesque Sing-A-Long, audience members are expected to  participate—they’re handed out songbooks so they can belt out the tunes. Feeling brave? There’s also “Kamikaze Karaoke,” which pits audience members against each other in singing a random song. $12, 9 PM

SATURDAY, MAY 21

STREET FAIR: The 11th annual Fiesta Asia Street Fair will represent more than 20 Pan-Asian cultures with live performances, food, crafts, and a parade on Pennsylvania Avenue. Free, 10 AM

MURALS:  International art collective POW! WOW! kicks off its DC tour with an Opening Celebration in NoMa. Local and international artists will do their part to beautify local spaces by painting murals on buildings across the city over the course of ten days. On Saturday, enjoy DJ sets, food and drinks, live art, and BMX riders showing off their skills. Free, 11 AM

HIKE: Celebrate one of the few clear evenings of the month—and a full moon, no less!—with a four-mile hike around the monuments. Visit the National Mall under the moonlight with this fundraiser for the Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group. $3, 8:30 PM

SUNDAY, MAY 22

SCAVENGER HUNT: Spend the day touring the city as you go head-to-head against other teams in HuntDC, a city-wide scavenger hunt. Participants will solve riddles and search for off-the-radar locations, all for the thrill of the hunt, not to mention the chance to win a $1,000 grand prize. Stick around for the after-party featuring music, drinks and food trucks. $39-$55, 1 PM

WATCH: Unwind with craft cocktails and classic films at Macon Bistro & Larder’s movie night. Tonight’s theme must be “Cary Grant At His Most Dashing,” as they’re playing His Girl Friday, Notorious, and An Affair to Remember. 5 PM
