From the Floral Bike to the Sassy Bride, Everything About This Loft Wedding Shoot Makes Us Smile

Bright and cheery, this Loft at 600 F styled shoot brings together some spring wedding inspiration at a chic downtown event space. The shoot was designed by Maribel Kalata of EightTreeStreet, who not only planned the shoot but also provided the stunning and colorful floral arrangements. Take a look through the photos below by Photography by Amy Nicole to nab some ideas for your own big day.

The wedding shoot features model Jessica Likas, an East Coast model that Kalata chose for her curves. “This wedding inspiration was designed to celebrate all brides, specially curvy brides and provide styles that can be worn at the wedding ceremony and wedding reception celebration,” says Kalata. “It was very important to us to include gorgeous designs with modern plus size brides in mind; we seldom see inspiration shoots for them, and we love all the styles available.” To play up the city-chic vibe of the shoot, Likas modeled two gowns from Fabulous Frocks of Alexandria—one a illusion neckline ballgown by St. Patrick Bridal, the other a modern, racerback dress by Enzoani.

For the decor, Kalata played off of the Loft at 600 F’s urban setting. “Our styling transformed the Loft at 600 F into a luxurious wedding setting,” she says. “Inspired by the linens from the Preston Bailey Collection at Nuage Designs Inc., we were able style the luxe tablescape with a urban flair.”

Gold striped bar glasses accented a beverage station, along with a laser-cut sign. In a fun nod to the downtown commuter, Kalata also decorated a bike, which was “perfect for a city girl,” she says.
