What’s special: This historic hotel, which dates back to 1926, was designed with a residential townhouse feel—and back in the day, artists and socialites often made their home here. (The Rodgers & Hammerstein suite is where the Broadway giants collaborated on their first success, Oklahoma, in 1942). Today, the rooms are still large.
