What’s special: Play unlimited golf alongside the Eastern Shore’s scenic Choptank River while “surfing the earth.” This May, River Marsh Golf Club introduces GolfBoards, an easy-to ride  vehicle that looks like an electric surfboard and carries you and your clubs from shot to shot. Climb on and complete a round of golf in less than three hours—versus the four or more hours it typically takes. The 18-hole course was designed by renowned golf architect Keith Foster and is back-dropped by beautiful coastal scenery. The 17th hole is a par 3 that stretches 200 yards from the tips—a challenge perfect for any golf enthusiast. Activities to enjoy beyond the course include three outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, tennis, miniature golf, disc golf, jogging trails, boating, a fitness center, and a spa.

The deal: Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay’s “Unlimited Golf” package includes unlimited golf for two, overnight accommodations, and complimentary golf cart rental, club cleaning, bag storage, bag tag, and parking. New York, New York

What’s special: This historic hotel, which dates back to 1926, was designed with a residential townhouse feel—and back in the day, artists and socialites often made their home here. (The Rodgers & Hammerstein suite is where the Broadway giants collaborated on their first success, Oklahoma, in 1942). Today, the rooms are still large. Perfectly situated, the hotel is steps from Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue Shopping, Broadway, Central Park, and restaurants.

Cruise Away

Where: MSC Cruises, sailing out of Port Miami, Florida; 844-612-6824.

What’s special:  This cruise ship was apparently inspired by the elegance and glamour of the 1950s, and features Swarovski crystal staircases. Enjoy the Broadway-size Pantheon Theatre, the Garden Infinity Pool that seamlessly extends out to the sea (one of four pools), the spa, and kid and teen clubs. There are two main dining rooms, two buffets, and four specialty restaurants.

Florida Keys

What’s special: The Moorings—a former coconut plantation 90 miles from Miami—features 18 individual villas with fully equipped kitchens. Its 1,100-foot white sand beach is one of the largest private beaches in the Keys. From the beach you can go windsurfing or kayaking. The resort also offers a 25-meter heated lap pool; hammocks throughout the property; complimentary use of paddleboards, kayaks, and bikes; tennis courts; a fitness center, and a full-service spa with beachside treatments.
