Up to 450 cats of different breeds competed at the National Capital Cat Show at the Dulles Expo Center Saturday and Sunday. Cats were ranked by color, breed, and agility, and the worthy were awarded ribbons. Specialty vendors offered cat lovers the opportunities to buy cat-inspired sweaters, blankets, and jewelry. Numerous local rescue groups were on hand to offer cats for adoptions.
