Amazon Books vs. Politics and Prose: Where Should Washingtonians Shop?

Amazon recently opened its first bookstore in the District, using online sales, customer ratings, pre­order numbers, and Kindle read rates to predict what Georgetown shoppers want to see on the shelves. To see how the algorithm stacks up to local favorite Politics and Prose, we picked six Washington titles and went to see what was in stock.
