Hours after the major networks projected that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have won the election, cheers and honking continued to fill the air around DC as Trump-weary residents joyfully marked the end of his presidency. Washingtonian photographer Evy Mages has been capturing the action as it unfolds. Here are some of the scenes of celebration that she’s shot in the aftermath of Biden’s victory.
