Colonial Williamsburg Resort Collection
If you're looking for a bit of history this Valentine's Day, head south to Colonial Williamsburg. At three Williamsburg hotels—Williamsburg Lodge, Williamsburg Inn, and Colonial Houses—you can book the two-night Winter Stories package (starts at $299 a couple). It includes daily breakfast, length-of-stay Historic Area passes, and a $100 gift card that you can use for almost anything—from a round of golf to room service to a romantic carriage ride. The Eldon
This hotel near the Washington Convention Center is offering a romance package featuring a bottle of Champagne, dinner at Clyde’s of Gallery Place, a pair of tickets for a movie at Regal Gallery Place, and continental breakfast the next morning. The Fairmont Washington

The Gaylord’s Remember Romance package runs all through February. The one-night package, which starts at $269, includes Champagne and strawberries, breakfast for two at Pienza, free parking, and 20 percent off spa services. Goodstone Inn & Estate
Available during the entire month of February, Goodstone's Love is Inn the Air package includes a one-night stay in the Middleburg inn, treats and Champagne upon arrival, bath salts, roses, afternoon tea, breakfast, and a $50 credit towards dinner. Chef William Walden will serve a special four-course Valentine's menu February 12 through 14, which includes entrées such as baked lobster soufflé, rack of lamb, and filet mignon du gourmand. Dinner is $79 a person. The overnight package starts at $349.

The Homestead
As an ode to the resort’s first year in business, the Homestead is offering the 1766 Valentine’s Weekend package. Priced at—you guessed it—$1,766, the two-night package includes flowers and Champagne or wine, breakfast and dinner for two, massages, robes, and unlimited activities at the resort. Inn at 202 Dover
Get away for the weekend in Easton, Maryland, with the Lover’s Paradise package at Inn at 202 Dover. If you're headed to this Leesburg resort for Valentine's Day, considering booking one of two romance packages. The Sweetheart Package, which starts at $299 a night, includes a four-course dinner with Champagne toast for two at On the Potomac restaurant, late check out, and valet parking. The Hugs and Kisses package includes a dip in the heated pool and hot tub at Spa Minerale, Sunday brunch for two, Champagne and chocolate in your room, late check out, and valet parking. W Hotel
The W has romance packages that range from a relatively-modest $319 a night to a whopping $27,999 for two nights. The high-end package, dubbed Ultimate Lover's Lounge Package, includes a helicopter ride to Monticello for a private wine tasting; in-room couples massage; gourmet dinner and breakfast; a "personal body chocolatier"; a photo shoot, complete with a stylist; clothing; Louis Vuitton luggage; and more. The mid-range package called Naughty N' Nice ($699 a night) includes bath amenities, Champagne and treats at arrival, in-room dinner, two complimentary cocktails, an in-room scavenger hunt, and more. The Who's Been Struck? package, at $319, includes a romantic game and feather tickler, late check-out, and two cocktails. Westin Reston Heights
Starting at $199 a couple, the Valentine's package at this Reston hotel includes a bottle of Champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a bag of Elizabeth Arden products upon arrival. The Heart to Heart Upgrade, at $809 a night, includes the above plus two 50-minute Swedish massages and turndown service with romantic music, liqueur, candles, and rose petals placed in a heart shape on the bed. At $2,400 a night, the extravagant Capital Night of Romance package includes a stay in the multi-level Jenny Lind Suite, which has a canopy bed and a Jacuzzi, along with breakfast in bed, valet parking, Champagne, strawberries, romantic turndown, and bath amenities.
