How far would you go for the one you loved? The 19th century explorer Ewart Grogan walked from Cape Town to Cairo to prove his worth to his future wife. The DC-based band The Laughing Man is performing at the Iota Club and Cafe, with Greenland and Black Telephone for the opening acts. Before the concert starts at 9, there will be poetry readings from several local scribes. $10 at the door.
