Sponsored by Solas Nua, Irish Popcorn is series of free screenings of Irish films. Tonight’s offering is Pavee Lackeen: The Traveller Girl, about a 10-year-old girl who’s a member of Ireland’s gypsy population. At the Renaissance Hotel in Dupont; 7 PM.

Another foreign film screening tonight is Shahada, a selection from the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
