Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Every morning, we’ll let you know where the area’s food trucks are rolling

Lots of trucks are taking the day or week off after another successful Truckeroo festival last Friday. But you can still cure your Monday blues by visiting the many trucks near Farragut Square, Metro Center, or Franklin Square. Happy eating!

Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you’ll find the Cheesecake Truck (nearby at 19th and L sts.), Eat Stix (nearby at 18th St. and Pennsylvania Ave.), Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 3’s second stop at 18th and K sts.), and Red Hook Lobster (nearby at 17th St. between L and M sts.)

Franklin Square (13th and K sts., NW), where you’ll find Kabob Bites, TaKorean, Benethiopia from Fojol Bros, and Sol Mexican Grill.

L’Enfant (Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW), where you’ll find Merlindia from Fojol Bros, the Pie Truck, and Basil Thyme.

Metro Center (12th and G sts., NW), where you’ll find Carnivore BBQ, Hula Girl, Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1’s second stop at 13th and F sts.), Tasty Kabob (second truck), and the Ficelle.

Navy Yard (M St. and New Jersey Ave., SE), where you’ll find DC Slices and Tasty Kabob (first truck).

Northern Virginia, where you’ll find Sweet Bites (Crystal City), Doug the Food Dude (Tysons Corner), District Taco (Ballston), and Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn).

State Department/West End area (21st St. and Virginia Ave., NW), where you’ll find the Cheesecake Truck (first stop) and Pi Truck.

Union Station (First and G sts., NE), where you’ll find Eat Wonky and Feelin Crabby.
