SHOPPING: Join the “Swapaholics” for an evening of clothes swapping and cocktails at the Clarendon Ballroom. Swappers must bring a bag of gently loved clothing, shoes, or accessories to trade. Everything left over at the end of the night will be donated to Goodwill of Greater Washington. But there won’t be any dressing rooms, so you may want to wear layers. Tickets ($20 for one, $30 for a pair) can be purchased at the event Web site. Not bad for a bag full of new clothes! Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. The event starts at 6 PM, the swapping begins at 8 PM.
HAPPY HOUR: Everyone’s favorite smart phone game is getting the royal treatment at tonight’s Angry Birds Tournament and Happy Hour. Stop by the Arlington Renaissance for a chance to win prizes like hotel stays, free dinners, and an iPad. And when you’re giving your thumbs a rest, sip on signatures cocktails with names like the “Mighty Eagle” and “Golden Egg.” Free; 4 to 7 PM.

SHOPPING: Contemporary home décor store West Elm is opening a pop-up shop in Georgetown. To celebrate, shoppers will enjoy a live art installation, free popsicles from Pleasant Pops, and a chance to win a $1,000 gift card. Located at 3333 M Street, Northwest, the shop will be open for six months. Open Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday noon to 6 PM.

THEATER: Don’t miss opening night of Fiddler on the Roof at the Wolf Trap. Set in a small Russian town, the musical follows a poor Jewish man and his five daughters as they struggle to survive during a time of social unrest. Tickets ($25 to $80) can be purchased at the event Website. 8 PM.
MUSIC: The Allyn Johnson Trio is dropping by the Twins Jazz for an evening of swinging melodies. Johnson, who began playing piano at five, has performed with Buck Hill, Andrew White, and Bobby Watson, to name a few. Tickets ($15) can be purchased at the event Web site. 9 PM.
FOOD: Join Roadside Food Projects for an afternoon of foraging for edible plants along Mt. Pleasant streets. At the end of the tour, foragers can cool off with popsicles from Pleasant Pops. Afterward, swing by The Gibson between 7 to 9:30 PM for a “foraged cocktail” of Hendrick’s gin, wineberries, summer greens, and other urban herbs. Tickets ($15 for the tour, $60 for the cocktail event) can be purchased at the event Web site. The tour is from 10 AM to 3 PM; Foragers should meet in the park on 16th Street and Columbia Road, Northwest.
SHOPPING: The menswear shirting brand Jack Robie is launching a pop-up shop in Sherman Pickey. But hurry; the brightly-colored button-downs will only be available for one week. The preppy men’s boutique is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM.
BIKE RIDE: Take a ride through the moonlit streets of DC during Dandies & Quaintrelles’s White Night Full Moon Outing. During the ride, participants will pass out handmade flowers to strangers. A pack-your-own picnic will take place afterwards. Don’t forget to wear white! The event is free, but riders must register here; You’ll learn of the location after registering. 8:30 to 11:30 PM.

MUSSELS: Join Brasserie Beck at the Eastern Market Hall for their second annual Mussel Throw Down. Sous Chefs from various restaurants will go head-to-head with 2010 Embassy Chef of the Year Jan Van Haute for a chance to be crown Mussel King. A $5 ticket includes one bowl of mussels and a beer, so dig in! Noon to 3 PM.

PARTY: Celebrate the locavore movement, eating food that’s produced nearby, at the Farm-to-Street party. ART: Take the whole family on a day trip to Baltimore for this year’s Arscape festival. America’s largest free art festival features more than 150 artists, fashion designers, exhibits, and more. Enjoy live music, street theater, and hands-on projects for the kids. Noon to 8 PM.
FASHION: Thrift store blogger Quarter Life is vintage hosting a pop-up shop at the Dunes. Pretty People owner Annie Lee will be bringing along some of the boutique’s merchandise. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Shop ’til you drop! Free; 1 to 6 PM.
FESTIVAL: It’s your last chance to drop by the Hillwood Museum’s French Festival. The event includes gallery talks about the museum’s French collection, traditional games like jacks and hoop-tossing, and an art project where you can make miniature French furniture.
