Free Pre-Thanksgiving Pumpkin Workout at Meridian Hill Park

VIDA Fitness is hosting a bootcamp-style workout to get your metabolism in gear for the Thanksgiving binge. Pumpkins—we’re not making this up—will be used as weights for presses, lunges, squats, planks, and other exercises during the 50-minute class. BYOP (bring your own pumpkin). 9:30-10:30AM.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22

SWEATgiving at Dock 5

Another way to get the blood pumping before Thanksgiving. Chris and Alex Perrin will lead a class that—so says the event’s Facebook page—will be like “SPORTS PRACTICE meets INSANITY.” (Think high-intensity interval training meets sports conditioning.) 10-11AM.
