My Tehran for Sale is a 2009 documentary that tells the story of a young Iranian actress struggling to succeed despite the obstacles thrown up by Iran’s brutal regime. Catch a free screening at 7 at the Freer Gallery. Filmmaker Granaz Moussavi will be on hand afterward to discuss her work.

A couple of old favorites are coming to the area’s stages this weekend. The dance-and-percussion show Stomp, which has added tractor tires to its arsenal of “instruments,” is at the Warner Theatre through January 30. Tickets ($37 to $57) are available at Ticketmaster. In Arlington, Synetic Theatre (1800 S. Bell St.) has brought back its wordless production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
