Monday, November 7
MUSIC:
Bluegrass group Béla Fleck and the Original Fleckstones are performing at the Strathmore tonight. “Fans of the jam-band scene have embraced the ensemble for their virtuoso musicianship and mastery of improvisation,” says NPR. You can listen to some of their songs here. Tickets (starting at $28) can be purchased through the Strathmore’s Web site. 8 PM.

Tuesday, November 8
FOTOWEEK DC:
Washington’s favorite photography festival kicked off Friday, and the fun continues with a free lecture series at the Corcoran (noon), a free night projection exhibit at Lisner Auditorium (5 PM), and Capitol PechaKucha at 1800 L Street Northwest (7:30 PM). Tickets for PechaKucha ($10) can be purchased through Eventbrite. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our list of the festival’s can’t-miss events. FotoWeek DC runs through November 12.

Wednesday, November 9
FOOD:
All three Pizzeria Paradiso locations are celebrating the eatery’s 20th anniversary with weeklong specials, events, and giveaways. Tonight, pie lovers can savor $20 all-you-can-eat pizza and beer (two drink maximum). The festivities run through November 13.

Thursday, November 10
THEATER:
Don’t miss opening night of Jersey Boys at the National Theatre. The Tony Award–winning musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ rise to fame. “Jersey Boys is a rock-and-roll jolt of history, a smashing serenade of the muscular harmonies of one of the more remarkable sensations of the ’60s,” says the Washington Post. Tickets ($66.50 to $151.50) can be purchased through the theatre’s Web site. Tonight’s performance starts at 7:30 PM. The play runs through January 7.
