DANCE:
Ballet Nacional de Cuba is performing a highlights show called “The Magic of Dance,” which includes selections from Swan Lake, Giselle, and others, at the Kennedy Center. The company will also present its rendition of Don Quixote. Through June 5; purchase tickets ($25 to $99) at the KenCen’s Web site.

Wednesday, June 1
MUSIC:
The DC Jazz Festival kicks off today. The two-week festival includes events such as Jazz on the National Mall, a variety of musical acts performing in DC’s neighborhoods, and classes and workshops for kids and adults. COMEDY:
