MOVIE: Run—or tackle—your way to tonight’s outdoor summer flick. Capital Riverfront will be screening The Blind Side as part of its Best of the Oscars Outdoor Movie series. Film begins at 8:45 PM at Tingey Plaza. Free.

BARBECUE: It’s a finger-lickin’ good time at this year’s Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival at the National Harbor. DANCE: It’s time for the CityDance Children and Youth performers to showcase the techniques they’ve perfected throughout the year in The Dreaming Tree. FESTIVAL: To celebrate how far the Argonaut has come after last year’s fire, the restaurant will host it’s first annual Phoenix Fest. The celebration will begin with brunch at 10 AM, followed by festivities at 1 PM—including food and drink specials, a raffle, a moonbounce, a bake sale, and a special appearance by DC fire engines ten and 13 (when they’re not in service). Live music will be provided. Proceeds will benefit the DC Fire Fighters Burn Foundation. Free, donations suggested. Brunch begins at 10 AM.
