Things to Do

Where & When: What to Do Tonight

Scary movies and a bubbly Halloween party

Watch some B-list movie horror “classics”—for example, Brain Eaters—at the Red Palace. Have some drinks and let yourself be scared silly. 6 PM; no cover.

For a more educational movie night, there’s a screening of The World’s Toilet Crisis at the AED Theater (1825 Connecticut Ave., NW). The film focuses on sanitation issues in developing countries and is presented in conjunction with the “Bathroom Pass” exhibit at AED: Exchange. 6:30 to 9; free. E-mail WinSPartnership@gmail.com to RSVP.

Come for happy hour and stay for the party at Urbana’s “Yelloween” bash with Vueve Cliquot. Drinks and small plates have happy-hour prices all night. There’ll also be a tarot-card reader, costume contest, and for $20, a free glass of Champagne, reduced price on all subsequent glasses, and party favors such as masks and boas. 4 to close. No cover.
