Take a road trip to see the Roots at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. The hip-hop legends are touring to promote their latest album, How I Got Over. If you can’t make it tonight, catch them every night as the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. 9 PM. Tickets are available here.

Journey From Zanskar tells the story of 17 children and their treacherous journey through the Himalalayas with Buddhist monks who have been charged with overseeing their education. The documentary by the Oscar-nominated Frederick Marx is playing at the Gallery at Social, which is serving cocktails, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. 6:30.
