Where & When: What to Do Tonight

A music legend, living art, and a good cause

Seven artists and dancers came together to combine the disparate style of Jackson Pollack and the moves of Step Up in a multimedia exhibition called “The Document,” on display at CRE8 Space Art Gallery (1314 Ninth St., NW) tonight and tomorrow. Several of the artists use break-dancing moves to move paint on canvas. The show also includes photos and two-dimensional works. Free. 7 to 11; make a reservation here.

Savor a glass of Spanish wine while admiring the Washington skyline from the lofty perch that is the Kennedy Center rooftop. The launch of the Roof Terrace restaurant’s monthly wine dinners features Spanish dishes, flamenco dancing, and selection of top Spanish vintages. $40 per person. 6 to 8. To make a reservation, call 202-416-8555 or click here. To learn more about upcoming wine dinners, click here.

Get in on the ground floor of a charity tonight at the launch party for Resolve, a new nonprofit that aims to provide small business loans to women in conflict zones such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
