We just got word that the winter installment of Restaurant Week will run from Monday, February 16 through Sunday, February 22. Reservations for inauguration weekend might have been easier to get than we thought, but don't count on the same spotty attendance for this wildly popular promotion.
Participating restaurants in DC and Virginia offer three-course lunches for $20.09 and three-course dinners for $35.09. That's a good deal at many top restaurants, but this year's list includes some especially high-priced, special-occasion-only places: Adour (where dishes can top $40), 1789, Charlie Palmer Steak, Farrah Olivia, Taberna del Alabardero, Oceanaire, Vidalia, and Volt.
