Happy hump day, food truck followers! Many street vendors are ready to help government employees through the shutdown with specials such as free tacos for the furloughed from Go Fish, $1 off sandwiches aboard Borinquen Lunchbox, and half off your order at Sang on Wheels. A government ID is required for all those deals.

Chinatown (Seventh and G sts., NW), where you’ll find Fire & Rice, Cap Mac, DC Slices, Sundevich Truck, Takorean, and Chatpat Truck.

Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you’ll find Tokyo in the City, Stella’s PopKern, Sate Truck, Sang on Wheels, Pepe, Peruvian Brothers, Hen House, DC Greek Food, Far East Taco Grill, Caribbean Cafe, and Cajunators; Carnivore BBQ, Korean Taco Box, Dangerously Delicious Pies, and Captain Cookie (nearby at 20th and L).
