Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Turns out there is such a thing as free lunch! El Floridano is giving deep discounts ($2 to $6 off) and yes, free lunches. If you're in Northern Virginia, there's a cluster of trucks in Crystal City. Full list of locations and a map after the jump.

Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you'll find Benethiopia from Fojol Bros., El Floridano, a Sâuçá truck, and DC Empanadas.

Franklin Park (13th and K sts., NW), where you'll find a Sâuçá truck, Feelin Crabby, PORC, and Phonomenon.

Georgetown Law (First St. and New Jersey Ave., NW), where you'll find That Cheesecake Truck.

L'Enfant (around Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW), where you'll find DC Slices, Merlindia from Fojol Bros., a Sâuçá truck, Takorean, Sweet Bites, Fry Captain, and Austin Grill.

Maryland, where you'll find Go Fish! and Suburban Brothers at King Farm Market.

Metro Center (around 12th and G sts., NW), where you'll find a Sâuçá truck, Pleasant Pops, and Yellow Vendor (12th and F sts.).

Navy Yard (Fourth and M sts., SE),
where you'll find Sol Mexican Grill, Basil Thyme (Yards Park), Dippin Dots (Yards Park), The Ficelle, and Eat Stix (Yards Park).

Northern Virginia, where you'll find the Big Cheese (Crystal City), Red Hook Lobster (Rosslyn), Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn), Bada Bing (2200 Crystal Dr., Crystal City), Capital Empanadas (23rd St. and Crystal Dr., Crystal City), Doug the Food Dude (Courthouse), Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 3's stops at Courthouse Metro, Pentagon City, and Crystal City), District Taco (Rosslyn), and Bratwurst King (Reston Zoo).
