7 Favorite Home Buys at Calypso St. Barth

The store opens Thursday in Georgetown.

This morning, Washington’s first Calypso St. Barth store opened on M Street in Georgetown. And while the brand may be best known for beachy-luxe attire such as airy caftans and sumptuous cashmere, the new DC boutique will also carry the home collection, Maison. Like the clothing, the line finds inspiration in global travel and the arts, reflected via a curated selection of artisan homewares sourced from such far-flung locales as India, France, and Argentina. The signature boho-meets-modern vibe remains—think animal motifs and natural textures, international exoticism, and loads of glimmery, glam metallics. In anticipation of the store opening, we’ve picked our seven favorites from the Calypso Maison line. Swing by to check out the local store’s selection, and let us know what you think!

1) Areaware by Harry Allen golden piggy bank, $220.

2) Notre Monde driftwood Navajo tray, $195.

3) Emmanuel Breton “Blonde Storm” print mounted on metal, $1,695.

4) Gold-trimmed agate coasters, $130.

5) Seychelles floor mirror, $985.
