Play Santa to Washington’s four-legged residents at Holiday Luck: A Lucky Dog Dinner, held at Hudson Restaurant & Lounge to benefit Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. Ready to add another stocking to the mantle? The Washington Humane Society will sponsor a cat adoption event at the Big Bad Woof (117 Carroll St., NW; 202-291-2404) from noon to 3.
Pets can get their photo snapped with Santa at the Dog Shop (1625 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-337-3647) Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. All pets are welcome, and proceeds benefit the Washington Humane Society. Participants will receive a treat. $15.
Sunday, December 6
The Washington Animal Rescue League and Bosque the Wonder Dog will host a holiday glass-art sale from noon to 5. Artist Perry Mackrill’s work will be for sale, and 10 percent of the proceeds will go to WARL. The sale will be held at 8132 West Beach Drive, Northwest.
