Flea Market Without the Fleas

Looking for treasure? Check out Jayson Home & Garden's online flea market.

Looking for a funky 19th century chaise lounge for your living room? Or how about a vintage taxidermy peacock for your mantle? We've got three words for you: online flea market—Jayson Home & Garden's online flea market, to be exact. The annual sale opened just hours ago here.

The Chicago-based furniture shop carries new and antique pieces, but the online auction is just for one-of-a-kind vintage gems. Categories include seating, tables, cabinets, mirrors, textiles, rugs, lighting, and "curiosities," a catch-all section for conversation starters like 20th century opera hats, wicker demijohns, and, of course, the stuffed-and-mounted peacock.

Prices range from $2.50 for a Belgian butter cup to nearly $10,000 for a 19th century gilt settee. The flea market lasts until the goods are gone.

Happy hunting!
