Did you know that wearing the right bra can make you look ten pounds thinner? That’s what Susan Nethero, founder of Intimacy Bras, believes. Nethero, who’s appeared on Oprah five times, is opening a store at Tysons Corner Center and will be on-site conducting fittings and dispensing advice.

Wednesday, May 4

Head to a happy hour for a good cause at Chi Cha Lounge, where each $5 donation gets you a drink ticket. Proceeds support the Alzheimer Association’s DC chapter and their annual Memory Walk. Organizer Brooke Applegate has held the event for the past three years in honor of her father on his birthday. 6 to 10 PM.

Thursday, May 5
Get in a run and some shopping before work at the Nathan Accessory Products trunk show at Greenberry Coffee and Tea (1737 Wilson Blvd., Arlington). Score water bottles and other fitness gadgets for up to 20 percent off from 5 to 7 AM.
