Culinary bad-boy Anthony Bourdain slams the Food Network once again, this time trashing the network’s “just-plain stupid ‘concept’ of an Awards show where most of the 'awards' went to inanimate objects.” Indeed, categories in Sunday’s Food Network Awards show included Best Comfort Food and Best New Appliance. The quickly-expanding Wegmans chain scored the SUPER Market Award for a grocery store that “has changed the way we shop.” Regardless of our feelings on the network that Bourdain calls “crack-brained, rapacious and evil,” we’re pretty excited that plans are in the works for new Wegmans locations in Virginia (Woodbridge, Leesburg, Lake Manassas) and Maryland (Frederick, Landover)…
