Exciting news in the ever-crazy world of Washington cupcake stores: The granddaddy (or grandma?) of them all, Georgetown Cupcake, is moving. Don’t worry, it’s not going far—just around the corner to 3301 M Street, Northwest. This is good news for all involved—the new space is much larger, so you won’t be stuck in those never-ending lines outside.
To celebrate the move, Georgetown Cupcakes is offering free cupcakes from 10 to 9 on Tuesday, December 15. To sweeten the deal, the shop has a bunch of new December flavors—from gingerbread to chocolate peppermint to chocolate eggnog.
