As part of FotoWeek DC, the exhibit “Foto Baroque” by Victoria F. Gaitan and Cecilia Paredes opens tonight at Curator’s Office. The artists’ lush, almost grotesque, photographs are on display through January 2011. 6 to 8.

Civilian Art Projects is hosting Hey Photographers!, a public portfolio review and workshop for shutterbugs looking for their big break. Each participant can submit three images, which will be projected and critiqued by a panel of judges (including The Washingtonian’s photo editor, David Hicks).
